We start at the Piazza dei Miracoli — one of the most extraordinary medieval squares in the world. The Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery stand side by side in a way that still leaves visitors speechless, even those who have seen them a hundred times.
From there we walk through the medieval lanes towards Piazza dei Cavalieri, the political heart of the old Republic of Pisa, dominated by the imposing Palazzo della Carovana. Then down the elegant Borgo Stretto, the covered-arcade shopping street, to reach the Arno. We stroll the Lungarno and finish at Piazza Garibaldi, with the whole city as our backdrop.
